Continental Terra Speed 700x35c review

Compared to two, three years ago, we have a lot of good tires for gravel in the market now. The problem is choice: we don’t know, what should we choice. Are newer tires better than older, like reviewed Gravelkings SK? There is only one way to check it: buy, ride and test. I’m still looking for best tires for my usage: a lot of tarmac, but often very bad quality, some gravel, preferably dry conditions because I don’t like mess. Last time I decided to try something other than Gravelkings AC/Mud, something probably faster. After reading a lot of reviews, a lot of comments, chose Continental Terra Speed in size 700x35c.

Polar Vantage M – review

As you can see on my blog posts, sport is important part of my life – I will write post about this, about big changes in my life, but not now. This post is a Polar Vantege M review – sport watch, which I’ve used from middle of 2019. In effect, it’s long-term review and have information about many, many updates pushed by Polar during last few months. This watch replaced few other devices: my Garmin watch and Bryton Rider bike computer. In short version I can say, that I’m very happy with Vantage M, but it’s not perfect device and not for everyone. If you are looking for nice training device, this post may be for you.

Panaracer Gravelking AC review

There are a lot of cyclocross and gravel tires on the market. We can now choose tires for many conditions: better for ridding tarmac, hardpack, better for grass, better for difficult terrain and mud (CX races) and some all-rounders. Last time I was looking for something for autumn and winter and finally decided to use a proven solution – I bought Panaracer Gravelkings AC 700x35c. It’s their new name, because I already used them year ago, and their called Gravelkings Mud. Why Panaracer decided to change name? I think because they have few options: non-SK for tarmac, SK for gravels, and these AC / Mud for mixed terrains and all conditions. This post is a small review after several hundred kilometers in this, and previous cold season.

Ultegra ST-R685 shifters and BR785 hydraulic brakes review

About year ago, I decided to change my brakes, and also shifters on bike. It was long journey, because I changed many things before without good results. This post is not only a review for Shimano Ultgra ST-RS685 shifters and BR785 brakes, but also some comparison to other, mechanical brakes. If you don’t like long post, there is small version: yes, it’s a very good choice to exchange brakes to hydraulic. They are much better than mechanical, and if you will be not stingy, you will not have to do anything in long time. After a year, I really don’t see any downsides of this change and can only regret, that I didn’t do it earlier.

Bryton Rider 530 – Review

As a very active cyclist, I use computer bike. Tried many solutions during last year and can say something about that. First was standard, digital Sigma, but without any connections, any synchronization etc. It was just simple, wireless computer bike with speed and cadence sensors. Then I tried to use old Sony Xperia. It supports ANT+, it’s small and can work some time on battery. Good? Not exactly, it was terrible. After that I use two watches – Garmin Vivoactive and Vivoactive HR after upgrade. Of course, both with special adapter. The last was Bryton, and this is small review of this computer bike.
